PILER has organized a meeting of Ms. Miriam Neale, Head of Signatory engagement, Bangladesh Accord Foundation and Ms. Carolin, European Centre for Human Rights with the civil society and trade union representatives on 24 September 2019 at Karachi Press Club. Mr. Zulifqar Shah Member SHRC/Joint Director PILER conducted the first session of the meeting. Ms. Fareeda Tahir, Public Relation Officer, SHRC also attended the meeting. Ms. Mariam Neale gave the brief presentation on the Bangladesh accord and informed the participants that they have safety committee training program, right to refuse unsafe work, safety hazards and strong Complain Mechanism in the accord.
