SHRC Member Judicial-II, Mr. Aslam Shaikh, and Superintendent Complaints, Mr. Sarfraz Jamali, have made a distressing call to the Government and Donors for an immediate emergency response. Their visit to districts Sukkur, Larkana Kambar@Shahdadkot revealed the devastating impact of the 2022 floods and heavy rains on education buildings. Millions of rupees’ worth of teaching and learning materials, including furniture, have been destroyed. Urgent action is needed to save the future of children and prevent an increase in the number of out-of-school children and low literacy rates in the province.
