Mr. Iqbal Detho, the Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission (SHRC), visited the Jacobabad jail to personally survey the living conditions of the inmates. During his visit, Mr. Detho met with several inmates and inquired about their living conditions.
As a human rights organization, the SHRC is committed to ensuring that the rights of all individuals, including prisoners, are protected and upheld. This visit was part of our ongoing efforts to monitor and improve the conditions in prisons across Sindh.
SHRC will continue to work towards improving the conditions in jails and ensuring that the rights of all individuals are respected and upheld.
