Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson Sindh Human Rights Commission, graced the event as a distinguished guest at the enlightening seminar on "Inclusion of Youth in Local Governance System through Effective Participation and Representation.” The seminar was organized by Bhittai Social Watch & Advocacy(BSWA) in collaboration with Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, District Administration and Local Government Department Khairpur, commemorating the observance of International Youth Day.

Mr. Detho passionately shared insights from the Sindh Youth Policy 2018, shedding light on the importance of youth involvement in shaping effective local governance systems.

The panelists for this insightful discussion included: Mr. Khalil Ahmed ibupoto Vice-Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur Mr. Abdullah Dayo, Program Advisor of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Pakistan, Mr. Fahad Hussain Shah Vice-Chairman District Khairpur, Ms. Ghazal Anjum Vice UC Chairperson, Mr. Juman Shah Vice-Chairman Town Committee Piryalo, Khairpur and Mr. Nisar khaskeli Chairman town committee.
