The project team from the Legal Aid Society, working on the Sexual Violence Response Framework, paid a visit to the Sindh Human Rights Commission. They engaged in insightful discussions with Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho the Chairperson of the Commission. As part of their project, they are tasked with creating roadmaps for various departments under the Child Marriage Restraint Act. These roadmaps are intended for 4 key departments: #Health, #Education, #SocialWelfare, and #Law.
The primary emphasis of the meeting was on formulating tactics to address the issue of child marriages in our society.
