The Sindh Human Rights Commission, in collaboration with NLD, convened a vital meeting at the Ramapir Mandir in Tando Allahyar, Sindh. The objective of the meeting was to address the importance and awareness of the Sindh Hindu Marriage Act of 2018 among the Hindu community.

This gathering witnessed the presence of distinguished figures, including Commission member Sukhdev Assardas Hemnani, Superintendent Complaints Adnan Ali, NLD Member Haroon Sarabdial, Jai Prakash and other notable individuals. Their insights were truly invaluable.

One of the key discussions centered on the Hindu community's reservations regarding the Hindu Marriage Act, 2018. Pertinent issues such as the registration of Pandits and the associated fees for registering marriages were brought to the forefront.

The Commission and NLD members took proactive steps to address these reservations, offering reassurance and guidance. The meeting also highlighted the immense benefits of registering marriages under the Act, underlining the significance of legal recognition and protection.
