Under the guidance of Chairperson Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Mr. Mohsin Sajjad, the Law Consultant at the Regional office Sukkur of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, along with a dedicated team from the Legal Aid Society (LAS), conducted a significant visit to District and Central Prison #Larkana on August 29, 2023.
The purpose of this visit was to identify incarcerated individuals in need of pro bono legal assistance and representation. The team interviewed both convicted prisoners and those awaiting trial, pinpointing 19 cases that were urgently in need of legal support.
This initiative highlights the strong commitment of the Sindh Human Rights Commission to uphold justice and ensure its fair dispensation.
