Under the directions of Chairperson Sindh Human Rights Commission, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Mr. Mohsin Sajjad, who serves as the Legal Consultant at the Regional office of the Sindh Human Rights Commission in Sukkur, led a significant visit to Juvenile and Women Jail Sukkur on August 30, 2023, alongside a dedicated team from the Pakistan Legal United Society (PLUS).
During this visit, the delegation engaged with incarcerated individuals, attentively listening to their concerns. Dr. Sirajudin Mahar, the Superintendent of Juvenile and Women Jail Sukkur, provided a comprehensive overview of the facility's operations to the delegation.
Additionally, the delegation inquired about the necessity for free legal assistance and identified four inmates who required such support.
This initiative underscores the unwavering commitment of the Sindh Human Rights Commission to uphold justice and ensure its equitable administration.
