The program, conducted in collaboration with UNDP Pakistan and Ministry of Human Rights, Government of Pakistan is a significant step in our commitment to business and human rights advocacy and designed to shed light on the National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights, particularly emphasizing Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) in Pakistan.
HRDD plays a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating adverse human rights impacts, and it's essential for businesses to understand their responsibilities in this regard.
The event featured discussions with public entities, civil society and business circles, exploring their roles in HRDD regulation, and addressed the challenges and solutions related to HRDD implementation in the private sector, with a focus on Chambers of Commerce.
