Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, chaired the technical session in the Provincial Stakeholders' Consultation to end child marriages. This event was organized by the National Commission on the Status of Women, Islamabad in collaboration with UNFPA, UN Women, and UNICEF in Karachi.
Mr. Detho's participated in inaugural session as well technical to highlight the implementation gaps in “Sindh Child Marriage Restraint Act 2013”. He emphasised to devise an implementation plan to put an end to child marriages by involving all relevant stakeholders.

Child marriage is a pressing /menace and together, we can create a future where every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive without the burden of early marriages.
