Mr. M. Aslam Shaikh, Judicial Member-II Sindh Human Rights Commission joined the impactful 2nd Annual Conference of the Multi-Sectoral Coordination Committee on Gender-Based Violence, hosted by Pathfinder International in collaboration with the Sindh Government and UNFPA this conference witnessed the participation of esteemed dignitaries:

The Chief Secretary Sindh, chaired the conference, Mr. Barrister Muhammad Omer Soomro, Minister for Human Rights, Mr. Ahmed Shah, Minister for Information, Departmental Secretaries, Representatives from the Commission, civil society, and media attended the conference.

The conference aimed to enhance mechanisms addressing gender-based violence in the province, Departments presented their progress, advocating for a unified approach via one-stop centers to support victims more effectively.

A crucial commitment emerged: the urgent need to consolidate GBV support under a single umbrella, ensuring no victim faces disappointment.

The Chief Secretary Sindh pledged unwavering support to combat GBV comprehensively across the province.
