Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission and Mr. Shariq Ahmed, Secretary of Labour & Human Resources Department, Govt. of Sindh, along with Dr. Niels Hegewisch, Country Director of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Pakistan, and Mr. Abdullah Dayo, Program Advisor FES-Pakistan, had a meeting and visit at the National Institute of Labour Administration and Training (NILAT), Karachi, Sindh.
The primary objective of this collaboration is to institutionalize between FES-Pakistan, SHRC, and the Labour Department, with the aim of strengthening government infrastructure for optimized utilization in labor training programs.
Dr. Niels Hegewisch has affirmed FES's commitment to supporting NILAT and an exciting development is on the horizon!
FES, in collaboration with SHRC and the Labour Department, Sindh, will be conducting labor union/trade unions training at NILAT.
