On January 20, 2024, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho Chairperson of the Sindh Human Rights Commission, extended his commitment to human rights by visiting the District Red Crescent Society (DRCS) in Shikarpur. During this visit, Agha Munir, the Chairman of DRCS Shikarpur, and Dada Reva Chand, Vice Chairperson, provided a comprehensive overview of the organization's impactful work in the Shikarpur District during the floods of 2022.

Mr. Detho, known for his proactive stance on various human rights issues, delivered a motivational speech to the dedicated volunteers of DRCS working in the fields of education, nutrition, health, WASH, and housing rehabilitation. He emphasized the paramount importance of understanding and championing human rights, focusing specifically on sectoral laws and policies in Sindh. In his address, Mr. Detho passionately encouraged the volunteers to delve into the depth of their subject, urging them to become well-informed advocates for social justice in the realms of healthcare and humanitarian work.

Highlighting the vital role of the Sindh Human Rights Commission in addressing humanitarian work, Mr. Detho shared valuable insights into the commission's efforts.
