Chairperson Sindh Human Rights Commission, Iqbal Ahmed Detho, emphasized the collective duty to address human rights grievances during a ðƒð¢ð¬ðð«ð¢ðœð ð€ð¬ð¬ðžð¦ð›ð¥ð² on the "ðˆð¦ð©ðšðœð ð¨ðŸ ð“ð«ð¢ð›ðšð¥ ðšð§ð ð’ðžðœððšð«ð¢ðšð§ ð‚ð¨ð§ðŸð¥ð¢ðœð ð¨ð§ ð–ð¨ð¦ðžð§ ðšð§ð ðŒðšð«ð ð¢ð§ðšð¥ð¢ð³ðžð ð‚ð¨ð¦ð¦ð®ð§ð¢ðð¢ðžð¬." The event, held at Sachal Sarmast Hall, Khairpur, was organized by Bhittai Social Watch & Advocacy(BSWA) in collaboration with SHRC and United States Institute of Peace (USIP).
Mr. Detho highlighted SHRC's ongoing public hearings, planned training for District Peace Committees, and initiatives for community-friendly policing. He commended BSWA's efforts and affirmed that the assembly's recommendations would be forwarded to policymakers.
For a peaceful and inclusive Sindh, unity among civil society, government, and communities is essential.
