The Human Rights Department Holds Third Meeting of the Provincial Steering Committee on Sindh Human Rights Policy
The Human Rights Department successfully conducted the third meeting of the Provincial Steering Committee on the Sindh Human Rights Policy. The meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Mr. Rajvir Singh Sodha, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh for the Human Rights Department.
The meeting was attended by the Chairperson Sindh Human Rights Commission, Mr. Sindh Human Rights Commission, Secretary Human Rights Mr. Akram Ali Khowja, Director Human Rights Agha Fakhar, Mr. Jameel Junejo, Executive Coordinator (TIC) and Ms. Rida Tahir, Member Business & Human Rights SHRC
During the session, participants reviewed progress on the implementation of the Sindh Human Rights Policy and discussed key strategies to strengthen institutional mechanisms for the promotion and protection of human rights across the province.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a cake-cutting ceremony was held in a gesture of solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan — recognizing their dedication and sacrifices in safeguarding the country.
