Today, the Sindh Human Rights Commission (SHRC) held its Board Meeting, chaired by Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Detho, Chairperson SHRC. The meeting was attended by Judicial Member-I Mir Safdar Hussain Talpur; Mr. Sheeraz Shaukat Rajpar (MPA), Member SHRC (via Zoom); Ms. Arooba Rabbani (MPA), Member SHRC; Mr. Nazeer Ahmed Khaskheli, Deputy Secretary (Admn), Human Rights Department; and Ms. Rida Tahir, the newly appointed Member (Business & Human Rights). The discussion focused on strengthening the Commission’s human rights work across Sindh through improved collaboration, enhanced oversight, and reinforced accountability mechanisms.
