Stakeholders Consultation on Addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA), and Sexual Harassment (SH) risks Ms. Fareeda Tahir, Public Relations Officer at the Sindh Human Rights Commission, shared valuable insights during the stakeholder consultation meeting organized by the Sindh Mass Transit Authority, Rozan and the World Bank.
She highlighted how SHRC addresses cases of human rights violations, including its Commission to take suo moto notice. Ms. Tahir also elaborated on the various channels through which the Commission receives cases, emphasizing the importance of ethical considerations and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters.
This consultation aimed to develop effective referral pathways for addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA), and Sexual Harassment (SH) risks—ensuring a coordinated response among key stakeholders.
